Deleting Savegames ingame does not delete the entire folder

    When deleting savegames ingame it does not delete the entire folder of that deleted safegame. This results in many empty subfolders in SaveGames.
    In one case it even left 2 temp files in the folder.

I had that and the only work round i could find for me was to play the saves briefly i wanted to keep , then look at the dates of the folders and delete any that didn’t have the latest date attached to them

Same here, I always delete in-game the save files I don’t use anymore, I checked my save folder and some folders from old saves are still there.
