Save files missing after update

  • Error Message: none

  • Details: After I updated to the latest version of the game, my save file went missing. I tried to restart and it was not there. The only option I have is to start a new game.

Have you tried seeing if it’s saving it to some other folder?

I saw another, similar, post and figured it out! There was a second save file that was created after the update. I combined the two folders and now everything is back.

Sorry, I don’t mean to bother you here, but I recognized your username from a mac_steam post about save files not loading. Could you tell me what you mean by “there was a second file created after the update?” I downloaded InZoi a while ago but never played it (created a family) until December 26 this year. I click the save button, but when I return to the lobby, my saves are gone. However, they appear in my InZoi folder in my Mac’s Documents folder. It’s not been recreating my Zois each session. I even purchased VM software to test Steam through it, and my files work just fine. The only issue with the VM is the shaky, laggy controls (I can’t figure out how to stop them when I click and drag in CAZ or live mode). Could you tell me what steps you took to resolve your saves not working?
