I have put in a bug report. But this is something that is very annoying, and would like to know other views, as a question. Since the last major update I have lost some games. This happened with the previous major update. All the time spent creating a relationship, and then loosing it and having start all over again? There must be something seriously wrong with the way Inzoi saving games! The question: Is there any way I can increase the game saves, or is there anyway I can back up the game saves to a file or folder on my PC? And then after the next update I can recover them? Thanks
What’s happening to your save games?
I had an aging glitch with the March update and had to use a combination of moving one zoi out and playing her while the town was set to not age, until she caught up to where she was supposed to be. But that’s the worst that has happened to me from an update.
Before any update, I backup my entire inZOI folder because I’m always paranoid about updates.
This time I made multiple versions of my save games before the update, by doing Save As. I also periodically make a new version of my save game. You can do Save As and use the same name, and continue playing from the new save. It’s just a way of creating “checkpoints” in case anything happens.
I’m paranoid because I used to play the Sims games before TS4, and updates often killed entire games.
But I’m curious what’s happening to your games. Has it been a different problem each time, or the same issue? Can you load the save game at all?
I haven’t had this problem.
