  • Game Version: 20251030.8384.W

  • Platform: (Steam windows

  • Mods: removed

  • Issue Date: 03/11/2025

  • Details**:**

I played last night and everything was working normally.
Today I started Inzoi on Steam as usual and this is what I see (unfortunately, I didn’t take a full screenshot).

I entered the game and there was only the “New Game” option, not the “Continue” option.
I checked and all the saves were there (I don’t save with Steam).

I verified the Steam files and they were fine.
I tried exiting and re-entering the game, even restarting my PC, but nothing.
What can I do?

So, I’ve solved it for now. I’m writing this in case anyone else experiences the same thing.
I started a new game, saved it, opened the save folder to see the path, and discovered that an Inzoi folder had been created in a different location.
So I deleted the new one, copied the old one to the new location, and here are my saves.
If anyone knows what happened, I’d be curious. I didn’t change any settings. I simply closed the game last night, and this happened this morning.

This is really weird!
When I saved tonight’s game, I looked at where it was saved, and it was in SteamApps. Is this because I reactivated some mods?
I don’t understand anything anymore! It’s absurd that sometimes it saves in one path and sometimes in another, and I don’t know what the reason is.

I hope someone on the team reads this

I actually have a similar problem. I edited the AZ Convenience Store in Dowon, saved it, and played as usual. After returning to the game, my Zoi went back for his ramyeon run and I found the place have been reset to its original layout. I was too angry to continue since I spent a good amount of time to fix the place.

The exact same thing happened to me again last night, even though there was no update this time.

  • I open the game
  • The message about the mods I posted a photo of a few days ago appears
  • I click OK, and in the game I can only choose “New Game” and not “Continue.”
  • When saving a new game, the save file appears in (C:)>Users>username>Documents>Documents>INZOI
  • I delete this folder (INZOI)
  • I copy the folder where the game USUALLY saves, which is:
  • (C:)>Program Files (x86)steamapps>common>INZOI>BlueClient>Binaries>Win64>INZOI
I’d really like to know why this happens and why it seems to only happen to me

That’s so weird.
The usual folder for the save files is under Documents.
I changed from saving in the cloud to saving locally a while ago but the folder never changed.
Do you maybe also have the oneDrive cloud active and this causes issues?

Are there save files in you inZOI folder under documents?
You could try switching to saving local and see if the saves show up.

I uninstalled OneDrive and disconnected it from my account in an attempt to resolve another issue—the double Mods folder (which I haven’t resolved yet).
I also disabled Steam Cloud saves.
Now I’m taking a screenshot of the two Inzoi folders.
The first one is where the game always autosaves.

The second one is where I find the saves of new games when the above issue occurs (the window that opens, etc.):

Then, when I copy the files from the first folder into the second to recover my saves, I play using my last save and save again—only for it to be automatically saved once more into the old folder, the first one.

If I don’t do all this and start a new game, I’ll find nothing in the game—not just my games, but my textures, saved outfits, and buildings—just like if I’d just installed the game.

Of course, I back up my data to an external hard drive every day because I don’t want to permanently lose everything.

I would reach out to the support if I were you :psycat_paw:

It’s → here
(you can change the language)

Thanks, I’ll do that. I thought they offered support here too, but it doesn’t seem so.

I’m having the same issue and it’s the second time it happened. I’m only seeing 1 save location though so I’m not sure what to do.

I was having this problem playing sims 4 also. Wish I had an answer for you but to this day I cannot get rid of OD folders.

Have you tried searching in File Explorer for two Inzoi folders?
If you have a copy of your old saves, just copy and paste them into the new folder.

I figured it out! I did find the second folder and it is working now. Thank you for all of your insights, they were super helpful!
