Game crashes on existing saves and new games.

  • Mods: removed

  • Issue Date: 15/04/26 - When issue occured.

  • Error Message: None

  • Details:

Game loads up in steam and I get to menu screen, click continue game, click save file, loads the screen where it has the hints text at the bottom, then when it changes to the screen where it displays some canvas entries it crashes and sometimes keeps running via steam.

Tried this with mods enabled, mods disabled and even tried creating a whole new save, each time crashes at same point. Worked for a few hrs after the latest update but now I cannot play.

Hopefully someone else is having the same issue and has a work around if not … no playing for me :frowning:

Did you also remove the mods from the Mods > 88849 folder?

Nope I didn’t know they were in there I just removed all the mods from the ~mod folder and disabled the ones in game from start up - I’m not super techy so where would that folder be located please?

If you’ve removed it from the Mod folder, then maybe you’ve already done it, the folder is there, in Mods.

Inzoi>Mods>88849

Is your Smart Zoi OFF? I have the same problem but it’s because my Smart Zoi is ON.

Smart Zoi is off .. never had it on, even if it was on I couldn’t load in to turn it off :rofl:

It doesn’t appear on your Options on the Menu?

I turned it off, still nothing and even did a full re install and it doesn’t work … not sure what else to do atp it’s completely unplayable :grimacing:

Hi have you tried verifyng the files on steam after removing all the mods completely? Also, try removing the 3d generated objects if you have any, these can be quite troublesome!

Thankyou! Turned out to be that smart zoi was auto turning on every time I loaded the game up.. works now :rofl::rofl:
