Pop Ups

The ability to turn off the psycat pop up and also NOT get the spam canvas pop up each time you go to change outfits and also not get the spam screen with canvas creators each loading screen

Also now stop the constant pop ups going on about the farming tools and the pop ups because you busked in the street and someone saw your zoi

I agree. The pop-up whenever you go to the Character Studio is especially annoying since it covers up some of the app’s controls. The player is forced to dismiss the pop-up just to use those controls.

I also noticed that these loading screens with the featured/favourited Canvas creators put quite the strain on the system (and I don’t even have a low-end computer).
So they might be a reason for crashes.
It takes quite a while for them to show up properly.
Please make it so we can skip/remove them.
They are also still very often inappropriate/Not Suitable For Work (this abbreviation is not allowed here?).
Plus I don’t understand why some creators should be favourited over others when there is no money involved.
Canvas should entirely stay in Canvas, there players can filter for the most liked creators if they want to.

I agree with you 100% about these Canvas loading screens. I think that since they fixed the pop-ups so we have an option to turn them off, people might not check this thread. May I suggest posting this again in a new thread with something like Canvas loading screens in the title? I’m sure a lot of people feel the same way about loading screens.

I will also comment on the other one if you make a new post.

I hope they get rid of the Canvas loading screens entirely. If they don’t get rid of them entirely, we should have an option to turn them off. Even if they are turned off, I think any content with mods should be prevented from showing on those screens because so many mods are inappropriate, so younger players can end up seeing that stuff even if they’re playing with a parent supervising. The same is true for all Let’s Play videos on YouTube. People might not want younger viewers seeing that sort of thing. If I’m not mistaken, there are some cultural sensitivities around that as well, so mod content shouldn’t be displayed on the loading screens for several reasons.

Also, top creators don’t need even more promotion. Players can check the top creators easily on Canvas, so there shouldn’t be favouritism. Every creator deserves exposure, but much more importantly, every player deserves the choice to see Canvas promotions or not. They could also make a collage of neat looking zois and outfits and put the Canvas logo if they really want to encourage players to check out Canvas by making us see a Canvas loading screen all the time.

We actually already have lots of threads about this.
If anyone wants to support, that would be awesome :psycat_paw:

For the options to turn them off, I think that is only the one that popped up in build mode?

The option for turning off the Canvas pop-ups turns them off in CAZ and Build Mode. Thank goodness! I spend as much time in those modes as I do playing the game. Even having to turn it off once every game session was annoying because I tend to have multiple game sessions in a day.

Thanks for the links to the threads. I’ll start hitting them up ASAP.

I agree, yes, we need improvement in loading screens.

Maybe there needs to be a filter, like on Pixabay. You get family-friendly content and have to opt in to mature content. Even though the best option is just to make it clear that these images are not acceptable on Canvas. If people want to create those images for themselves, that’s their business, but I don’t want to see it.

Also, what’s the point in putting a rating on a game if you’re going to allow this?

Mature content? On canvas? What kind of mature content is that? Women in swimsuits?

We’re talking about modded outfits where zois are basically wearing string. They are then posed in ways that allow the camera to be positioned in ways that make the image explicit
