Improvements to Canvas and Loading Screens

Before I share my wishes for Canvas, I must express my gratitude for the search option that was added so we can finally search for content without mods (or with mods). :folded_hands: :heart: I only use official inZOI content in my game, and I like to promote mod-free content in my inZOI YouTube videos. It was becoming almost impossible to find mod-free content to showcase before the search options were introduced, so it has made things much easier for me now! :+1:

However, there’s still room for improvement with regards to official content and content with mods. Most outfit mods I see are extremely revealing, and some images are particularly inappropriate as well. It’s understandable that people love these mature outfits because inZOI appeals to a lot of adult players. Nevertheless, the game is rated PEGI 12 and it will obviously appeal to younger players too! I remember being a younger player and playing somewhat similar games.

Most of the time, the Canvas loading screens that display outfits include images of female zois in "barely-there” bikinis and other very revealing outfits. It’s not just a “think of the children” kind of thing—I’m an adult and I simply prefer not to see that kind of imagery.

With that in mind, and with consideration of the fantastic items the inZOI team creates, I humbly present my wishes for improvements to Canvas.

My wishes:

  • Get rid of all Canvas load screens and the display in the lobby.

  • Hide content with mods from the main page of Canvas and individual categories until someone searches for content with mods.

  • Make searching for Without Mods the default instead of All. Make seeing mods a more deliberate action.

Thank you for considering these improvements that would make Canvas more comfortable and welcoming for people of different ages and from different cultures, plus showcase the official inZOI content more prominently than content with mods. :folded_hands:

Not all cosmetic mods are safe to use either, so I think it would be better to highlight the official content and anyone who is searching for mods can still find a wide selection just by clicking “With mods” when they search the various categories.
