Can't cook new Cahaya Meals Even Though I Have the Ingredients

  • Error Message (optional): Not Enough Materials

  • Details (Providing reproduction steps helps us): This is a completely new save file. When I try to cook the new foods from Cahaya that require ingredients, it says “ Not enough materials” even though I have 3+ and multiple types of them

Are the materials in your zois bag and does the following show up?

Yes. All that shows up and the materials are in my Zoi’s bag

But you can’t click ‘OK’ like in the right pic above?

Yes, I click it. I choose the ingredient I want to use in that pop up menu. It’ll say 6/1. I click okay. Then the pop up goes away and it says above my Zoi “Not Enough Materials“

Have you tried if it works in a new save with empty mods folders?
(under documents and/or blueclient)

Where the error is occurring is a new save. I’ve tried with and without mods. I haven’t tried it in a diifferent save file though

Please double check if the mod folders are really empty, I’ve found the following in another post about mod issues:

I was also having the same problem with the newly released version on the MacOS, so I’m new to the game. It seems like the recipes they added for Cahaya don’t list required objects such as countertop, range, over, etc. I was finally able to cook the level 1 mango sweet rice, when I got a Range or Induction Cooktop. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for posting this @dbumblebee ! I was just about to post a bug and found this thread.

I started a new save and had the same issue. The Zoi was able to make some dishes with the new ingredients but for others it always stated “not enough material”. I only had this counter top stove thing. I bought a proper oven and problem solved.

      Windows 10 Professional / 22H2 / 19045.6216
      13th Gen Intel(R) Core i9-13900KF 3.00 GHz
      NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti
      192 Gb Ram, 4TB NVmE with 2.2tb left.

    • **Steps to Reproduce: **
      Click the refrigerator to initiate the “Cook” option
      Select the “Potato Pie” meal
      Select the “Large Potato” produce

You then get the error “Not enough materials”
This works with the smaller potatoes with no issue, so it’s only affecting the large ones for some reason.
