Stuck at Cahaya without enough money

  • Error Message: None

  • Details: I went to Cahaya expecting to go on vacation. One there, I am forced to buy property (which I can’t afford). The cheapest lot I see is 2000, and I only have 1400. Now I am stuck, and can’t even open the game menu. Can’t save, can’t exit, can’t move forward. I should have been notified that 1: I would be FORCED to buy property, and 2: you need a minimum of $2000 to do so.

You can quit the game and return to an older save. Probably the game even created an autosave from right before you left.

When you don’t have enough funds you have the option to take a loan/mortgage that will give you just enough to buy a property. When you select a house just click on the “Receive a move-in assistance loan” that appears at the bottom of the move in menu. Technically, as long as you don’t have enough money you can buy any residential property in the game but keep in mind that you will have to either repay the loan or keep paying the interest.
