Currently, only the head of household can decide on who can use the doors. It would be great if all Zois in a household can control the door permissions. It would open up opportunities for multiple Zoi’s to live in an apartment. BTW I’m loving this update.
Please change this to bug, as it used to be possible to assign a door to a specific Zoi. This was lost in the updates.
How it was: the homeowner simply had to mark the door as unlocked, and then you could switch to the Zoi you wanted to control the door, right-click on the door, and select “only me”.

Yes, I’m also desperately waiting for this feature. It’s very necessary for me, and it’s a pity that it hasn’t been added yet.

I think it’s necessary that doors can be controlled by both the owner and others. Indeed, it’s not fun to not have the choice to assign a door as you would like. Even if you can assign a bed, the fact remains that the whole family or friends enter the bedroom or my bathroom which is in my bedroom.
Anyway, I hope they do something to fix that.

Every household member should “have keys” and not just the oldest one or the one who bought the apartment - as is currently the case.

Controlling Door permissions by every ZOI in the household is ABSOLUTELY necessary! At the moment a cohabitant can only invite friends if either the doors are unlocked or these friends are at least known to the house owner. That’s not only ridiculous, it’s almost impossible to play a household with multiple ZOIs.

Yeah being able to restrict certain rooms to other ppl than the owner is a must.
Like with current autonomy rules, zois will raid the fridge while my cook made some delicious breakfast sitting on the table. Since my cook is not the head of the household, I cannot put the fridge behind a door and set only her to have access (thus they have to eat what she cooks and no more raiding the fridge ! muhaha).
Also good for ppl roleplaying apartment bujildings.
Will be even more of an issue if we ever can have household of more than 8 zois (ie: multiple families in a big complex).
