Details: My Zoi met his girlfriend but couldn’t get in touch with her, so I made a party and asked her to move in. After adding her to the household I had them get married. Now however, she doesn’t count as a part of the household. When I have my original Zoi selected I can swap to the girlfriend but I cannot swap back (he disappears from the family bar and spacebar doesn’t work either). When I click on him and click play as him I can again spacebar/use the bar to swap to her but not back. Also when I look at information about household while controlling her, it shows she doesn’t live anywhere.

Whenever I restart (as in log on after it’s been turned off), my zoi’s new husband gets removed from the household. When I’m my zoi it looks as if he’s in my household but when I switch to him the amount of money change and it my zoi disappears from the household.
Same thing, I brought a Zoi to live with me, we’re not married, everything was fine until I logged in, I can only play as him but not my main Zoi! the homeowner! plus with him, I can’t perform any actions, it’s infernal!
Is it maybe worth a try to move them out to another lot?
Or maybe temporaly move another Zoi in and see what happens?
(But remember that the game resets the house when you evict all Zois.
My workaround is to move another Zoi in and divide the household/create a new household with the Zois I want to move out. Or save the house bevore evicting.)
Some details:
I originally started with the male Zoi. He met a woman he liked, they got married, and moved in together. Now, every time I load the save, I can’t control both Zois. I can control the man just fine, and the woman still appears in the side selection, but the moment I try to control her, the man disappears from the side selection. If I try to go back to him, it tells me I’m trying to play as another Zoi instead of controlling someone in the same household.
The only way I’ve found to fix it is by going to the map, managing the household, moving the woman out, and then adding her back into the household.
I have not seen another report on this issue. I’m hoping this isn’t a duplicate.
We’ve had a few reports like yours before, unfortunately. The major issue is, that for whatever reason the game sometimes doesn’t list married Zois as being one shared household. I put your save file in my setup and noticed exactly that. The female Zoi is part of the household living on this lot, while the male somehow becomes a different household (you can check this by looking at the “family” category on their Zoi card). The only known fix to this issue is going to the neighborhood selection and adding your male Zoi to the household by “moving Zois between households” option.
