I love that we have newborns and toddlers in the game so early but I have yet to see a newborn or toddler with full set of front teeth in real life. Please remove the teeth.
Also please include strollers so parents can take they toddler for a stroll around the city, and baby car seats so zoi family can ride with their toddler in cars and boats. Its sad that currently we can’t leave the lot (at least not far) with our toddlers.
I also think its funny and cute that toddlers crawl everywhere (including down the stairs) but could we add gates with toddler locks add a lock to every door to make them toddler-proof. So if I lock my door for toddlers then I should not see my toddler crawling around outside the house unsupervised and if I build a fence around my stairs with a gate and lock the gate for toddlers, I shouldn’t have toddlers crawling up and down stairs.

I would also love the option to allow us to make toddlers and babies in the create a family, so that we could start with them.

I was so shocked and disturbed by the teeth that I filmed it on my phone to show people. My husband said he worried about my zoi breastfeeding.
Also, my zoi gave birth in the street. The baby just turned up in the cot in the bedroom. My zoi continued with her day as if nothing had happened.
I’m sure these are all things that are being worked on, but it is bizarre.

My wishlist for the newborns and toddlers:
A. Let’s head into pregnancy first:
- Go to hospital to confirm pregnancy and see obstetrician (even if it’s a rabbit hole).
- See obstetrician each trimester - take sonograms, find out gender, do tests that pregnant women need to make sure baby is healthy and take specific pills (e.g. pre-natal vitamins)
- Pregnant women have cravings
- Attend pregnancy classes
- Be able to give birth at home (hire a midwife and have some birthing at home furniture, e.g. birthing pool)
5.a if birthing at home with midwife, then go through the process of checking dilation, breathing techniques, etc.
5.b if there is an emergency, then should be able to get an ambulance to take mom to hospital
- should be able to give birth at hospital (and go through process where there is a doctor, ask for epidural, select c-section or natural birth etc.)
- Midwife could be a “live” job, like the firefighter. We could also have doctor as a “live” job
- Someone in another forum suggested getting a delivery for new parents before the baby arrives with a crib, changing table, diapers, etc. This is delivered to your home and you open and place it. This should be functional.
B: New born - phase ( 0 -2 months)
We should be able to:
- Walk around the house with the baby.
- Maybe put the baby in a kangaroo sling pouch in the front and you can clean, wash dishes, read a book, go for a walk, go shopping etc. with the baby ( and ensure you pack a baby bag)
- Bathe the baby (even if it’s in the sink)
- Rock the baby to sleep (in arms and rocking chair)
- Sing to the baby without the guitar (this guitar thing annoys me a little. My Zoi has no guitar experience and just randomly pulls it out (why can’t I just sing the baby a lullaby in my arms?)
- Have functional furniture for the baby - crib, changing table, playmat, small bathing tub for infant (can use same one for toddler, but interactions should be different and new born should be smaller)
- Cuddle and sleep with the baby (could be dozing on a rocking chair or have the baby in the middle of the bed)
- The baby should sleep for longer periods, but also have more diaper changes, wake up for multiple feedings
- For feeding, I would personally like to warm the milk up in the microwave or under a tap or a milk warmer instead of it appearing from the middle of nowhere. It would also be nice to pump breast milk and store it in the fridge
- I haven’t yet had the chance to change the newborn’s diaper because they age up so quickly! (I have currently slowed down my new born’s ageing up to 0.25 speed so I will see if this works).
C. Infant phase (0-1 years)
- Learning to lift head, roll over, sit up, crawl, walk
- Learning to talk
- Learning to eat with hands (changing from drinking formula only to solid foods)
- Right now, the toddler in the game is this phase. The toddler is super cute, but we need the bouncy chair, sleep mat, changing table to function.
- I should be able to click on the wash tub for the infant to give them a bath instead of only on the baby.
- Infant should be able to go out and change to into different outfits (parents should dress them, hopefully) and go to the park, shopping etc.
- As mentioned, bring in strollers and baby carriers!
- Give the baby a crib, please. No auto mat for sleeping. Baby is tired, sleep on the floor or cry to be rocked and put in a crib.
D. Toddler/Preschool stage (2 - 5)
- Toddlers are walking now
- Able to talk more and getting ready for pre-school
- Have outfits available and can go out with parents/older siblings (teens) to the park, shopping etc.
- Are able to make friends and have more personality.
After this is the child stage, which I haven’t experienced yet, but I hope the newborn/toddler stage improves a lot!
