More flexibility in building tools

I think building in Inzoi could become even more creative if objects were more flexible.

Some ideas:

  • Add a slider to resize furniture, similar to how it’s done in Paralives and Tiny Glades.

  • Make it possible to stretch or shorten items so they fit perfectly into a room — for example, adjusting the length of a table or a sofa.

  • Create adaptive objects such as carpets, curtains, and blinds that can be resized to match the exact space.

These kinds of tools would give players way more freedom and make every build feel unique, instead of being limited to fixed sizes.

sharing build mode from Paralives so you could see how it’s done there. In my opinion it’s super intuitive and flexible

I’d love some more advanced build mode options too, especially resizing, lifting/lowering, tilting objects and I hope the developers are considering this.
It’s already an optional feature in many MMORPGs and it’s even coming to World of Warcraft after 20+ years!

As you can see in the screenshot below, there is the option to enter the advanced build mode.

And we already have this ‘gizmo’ to achieve all this already ingame for the 3D printed objects and in CAZ for the earrings and headpieces.
It would be awesome if we could have it for all of the objects.

It’s funny, but I also found something similar in Paralives, and I like how the gizmos are done there — they’re more compact. In Inzoi, some of the arrows overlap each other and make it hard for me to click on them.

Oh I didn’t know that it also comes in Paralives, that’s awesome!
Yeah, inZOI ‘gizmo’ thing needs more love.
I guess that’s why it’s only available for a few categories yet.
It should also become transparent when it overlaps small objects like the earrings in CAZ, for example.
No matter how I turn and tilt the camera, there is no way to see where I actually move them ^^’
