handrails can not be connected to stair railing

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System (OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage…): Windows 11 10.0.26100, AMD Ryzen 7 7700 8-Core Processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti v7700, 32GB RAM, 1.81TB storage

  • Issue Date: 09/09/2025

  • Error Message (optional): NA

  • Steps to Reproduce: build a room, raise the room so a foundation is created. Build a small room attached to the first (it will be created on foundation as well). Replace the side walls with handrail. Remove the wall/handrail at the front of the patio room to make space for stairs, Add stairs to the smaller room leaving space for handrails at the front (see attached pic). Add the handrails to the side of the stairs.

  • Details:
    Any attempt to connect the handrail to the stairs deletes the stairs. It doesn’t look right with the gap between the handrail and the stair railing. I can’t even use columns to fill in the gap.

Hello @zoiAddic,
Currently, railings and stairs are treated as separate objects, so they cannot be directly connected. This is the intended specification.
However, we fully understand the inconvenience this may cause, and we will look into possible improvements in the future. Thanks!
