Right now, when needs are in a good state, the bars are shown in white, and they only switch to yellow/orange/red once they’ve dropped significantly. My personal preference would be to use a full traffic-light style system: starting with green for good levels, gradually shifting through lighter greens, then into yellow → orange → red as the need decreases. This would make the feedback clearer and give the needs a more dynamic, rewarding feel.
Another point of confusion for me is the difference between Sleep and Energy. I think I understand the intention, but the distinction doesn’t feel very clear. Personally, I’d prefer merging them into a single need.
Finally, I feel like the needs in general could use some fine-tuning. With the possible exception of Hunger, most needs seem to decrease far too slowly, which makes them feel less engaging. Additionally when Zois are at work, their needs often don’t decrease at all. This is especially noticeable with Sleep, since it can prevent a Zoi from actually sleeping through the night properly, which is really frustrating.
The bars could also be made a bit larger for better visibility.
