I feel like I’m constantly feeding my Zois on the 48 minute long day mode. I can feed them and then 5 minutes later they need feeding again. It’s so frustrating.
This really is frustrating. Especially if you feed them at the „wrong time“. It seems that the game drains these needs extremely at certain times of the day. E.g. if your Zoi eats shortly before lunchtime he will be hungry again in one hour or so. But if you feed them in between the normal eating times it keeps much longer.
I think this is not really realistic as if you eat a whole meal shortly before lunchtime you will not be hungry again in one hour and rather eat earlier in the evening.
The needs should have a timer instead of specific times which drain the needs. So that when you eat at whatever time it takes x amount of hours until the need is depleted again.
They need to set the sleep bar to deplete 100% in 16 hours. From time you wake up (either 11am or 4am)
Same must happen with food. A full meal (full hunger bar) should last 12 hours.
From what I remember reading from the patch notes and informations, they tried to create an artificial sense of zois getting tired at 11pm and getting hungry at 6am, 12pm and like 6-8pm.
I would just say this to devs: Stop policing when my zoi must do things.
Just let the bar organically go down over time. That’s it. And make sure the how fast they deplete is adjusted for each of the day lengths.
It worked like that before it was changed and worked superbly well (well except the 4 and 24hrs times).
It’s still a mess even after 0.4.5 which addressed that, just not as bad as it was before.
The experiment didnt work. Roll it back please, and redeploy it once everything is working in-house.
Put the 96min default back as well, the game ran FAR BETTER for 96min (obviously) but also 48min.
Hi everyone (@here),
Apologies for the trouble caused by the need-related bug - we know it can be frustrating.
We are currently looking into it. We’ll share any updates in this thread as soon as we get.
Thank you!
