It is a nice idea for Dowon, but when my Zoi in BlissBay or Cahaya (or with a particular ethnicity) constantly keeps grabbing Pad Thai when they’re hungry, it’s very unrealistic.
Maybe replace with a universal snack like an apple (or other fruits) or universally popular chips/chocolate bars or maybe each zoi should have a higher chance of grabbing one of their favourite snacks or something?
This could be a great opportunity to add local foods and snacks that are specific to each world that a zoi will grab above anything else.

I also find the selection of quick meals in the fridge strange, like granola. Meals need to be better organised so that there is breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks

I also find it odd that there are no recipe unlocks beyond level 5 cooking skill. I take this as evidence that this area is possibly still in development, so hopefully cooking and fridge selection options will be tweaked in future.

Zois should prioritize any food preference they have, of the most appropriate (or closest) calories they need.
If your Zoi is starving and likes vegetables, they should go for Bibimbap
If they like meat, go for something else.
If they are only slightly hungry, go for the Mango.
Ironically the Zoi choice was much better back pre-0.20.
I remember depending on how hungry they were, they would chose differently, and as an effect they would eventually try every meal available.
Right now in my game 90% of the times they always go for the ramen machine. Very rarely for anything else like Mac and Cheese or a bowl of Granola. Not once have they eaten a mango or shaved ice cream or anything else (unless I had them do it). They lost their appetite for Bibimbap as well, even when they love veggies, it’s almost never what they pick.
They really should check their food preferences.
But yeah, they need to rework that, agreed !

Slightly off-topic maybe, but I have noticed that my zois who like vegetables will sometimes ignore a directive to cook something containing meat and will make a veggie dish instead!
