I can record a video to show this in action, but I’m not sure how to share one. (Link to external storage like Google Drive, or upload it through the post? What the file type and maximum file size?)
In one of my games, my zois are unable to clean up the dishes. This wasn’t a problem before the 2.0 update, and I’m having the issue in a game that was started prior to the update. I read on Discord that another player had this issue after setting the table for 4, and I had also done that once in the game that’s affected by the bug.
The zois in my game with the bug will not clean up dishes after they’re done eating—they used to do it autonomously. I saw the zois use the sink like a normal countertop when mixing ingredients (put the bowl right where the sink is as if it isn’t there). They also will not clean up dishes from the quick meals.
I replaced the sink and added a dishwasher. Neither makes any difference. When I tell a zoi to wash the dishes or clean up, they pick up the dish and put it down again somewhere else. I have to delete them in Build Mode. Coffee cups from the instant coffee machine are also left out when the zois finish drinking the coffee.
The bug doesn’t exist in my other current game that I started after the 2.0 update, and the family has never used the set the table for 4 option. I won’t use it now because I’m concerned it triggered the bug in the first place.
I understand that older games are not fully compatible with 2.0, and I will stop playing this saved game after a couple of weeks, but I needed to report the issue while I try to manage it for these next few weeks.
Thanks for taking a look at this issue!
