Attention fellow zoiers, we are under attack!

Inzoi has aquired the sexual content tag.

Steam tags are user generated. A sexual content tag could severly hurt inzoi since it’ll limit discoverability, and sims 4 mega fans are definitely to blame since their precious game is in shambles.

Anybody who reads this post, go on the inzoi steam page, click the plus sign to suggest a new tag and pick the family friendly option.

Inzoi definitely doesnt have any sexual content (if anything, its got even less content than the sims 4), so the tag has been unfairly applied.

And also report the sexual content tag

I don’t think we’re under attack since Krafton also added this since the beginning on the official inZOI page.
inZOI is teen rated and I guess they’ll have to post this (even though inZoi is as tame and romantically unexciting as a koala bear :koala: -.-)
And maybe they even added (or ‘forced’) this tag to lure more players in(?)

EDIT: ‘sexual content’ is in the top 50 of the most popular tags on steam. Most of the ones before the ‘sexual content’ tag can be crossed out for inZOI, so they maybe picked the ones that applied in descending order? Who knows.

Sims 4 doesnt have this tag. In fact, none of the sims games do. And inzoi is even more tame in comparison. Youre welcome to explore the sexual content tag on steam to realize why inzoi doesnt belong there.

Also, suggestive content = sexualy explicit

Would content on canvas feed into this rating? Some of the content on there isn’t kiddy friendly.

i was thinking the same thing

not sure if this has anything to do with this, but for some reason the game is rated 16+ on GeForce Now despite the pegi 12 rating highlighted on the website :eyes:

Kjun did mention that the team is working on refining the basics - perhaps the tag and the rating have something to do with that?

I think you are correct, the sexual content is all on Canvas - which ofc is now fed to us constantly via the main menu, build mode and CaZ. And cannot be turned off.

Besides that, perhaps it is Krafton’s intention to make it clear that Inzoi is not a game intended for children? A lot of kids play Sims games and might easily migrate here from TS4 for example.

The game tags are added by users, not the developers (something i already mentioned here)

Maybe someone from the company needs to go back to the beginning with this. It’s a PEGI 12, so get everything lined up with that. They definitely need moderators on canvas, or make canvas 16+.

Either way, it’s all a bit messed up during the early access stage, so there’s time to fix it.

The tag is now gone, so no need to worry anymore. However, automatically blaming “Sims 4 Mega Fans” for this “attack” when this is common trolling behavior on Steam is an unfair definitive statement to make. The shade thrown was unnecessary when bringing up this issue and is nothing more than pure conspiracy.

This post was dug up and reposted on major general gaming news channels with 70k+ subscribers that don’t usually cover life simulators, but always spark controversy when fan camps clash. From the outside, it looks amusing even a bit absurd. Please tread carefully.

“Fans of inZOI have attacked supporters of The Sims 4 — accusing them of jealousy and sabotage via Steam tags.

The improvised standoff between life simulation enthusiasts continues.

The author of the post believes that fans of The Sims 4 are simply jealous, since their games are in “shambles.”

Perhaps it’s because of what was mentioned earlier. It could be that the labels in Korea are different from other countries and that’s why they have to put it. I’m speaking from complete ignorance, but maybe that’s why they rated it that way… (I don’t know) :face_without_mouth:

I saw a version of this posted on Reddit, too. As a fan of Sims titles in general (though less TS4 for reasons we all know about) I am highly sceptical that all Sims players are out to sink this game out of spite.

That reddit post was from this post’s OP

Yes, I saw it on there independently though, so I did wonder how many other instances there might be out there one way or another. I wasn’t exactly looking for it but found it anyway!

I also wondered where the source of all this was.
