Details: So, the in-game mod menu is not properly showing ANY mods I downloaded. What I downloaded from the in-game mod menu included hairs, clothes, furniture, and gameplay mods but when i went to CAZ; nothing showed up that I downloaded even though I have the mods enabled in both the options menu and the mods in game toggle say installed and enabled- I tried so many ways to fix it: I restarted the game, I moved the files to the blueclient > paks folder, I changed the text files to “installed true” and nothing worked. I’ve tried just downloading a featured outfit in the mod (Fairy outfit 8) and left that as the only mod installed and it still would not show up. I have no clue what is going on- the only mods that I can get are through canvas which is disappointing to me because I really wanted all the mods I found off the mod menu. ANY help is appreciated.
Do you use One Drive by any chance?
A strange thing is happening to me: I have two Inzoi folders saved in two different locations.
I’ll post screenshots of the paths of the two folders.
The second one contains only the mods.
If I download mods, they only go into the first folder, but to see them in-game I have to copy and paste the files into the second one.
I don’t know if the problem is One Drive because I haven’t tried disabling it yet.
Yes, I do have OneDrive on my computer (not paying for it nor do I really use it but maybe it still works anyway?) so I wonder if that is the issue!
I’m not quite sure I’m doing the right pathway, however, here’s the two paths for me with OneDrive + the regular Documents pathway.
It seems to me instead my mods show up in the Documents (1st screenshot) but not in the OneDrive; so I tried to put my test mod into the OneDrive folder but that didn’t work. Do I need to put pak files or the entire folder?
Unfortunately, I’m not very Windows-savvy; I only use it for gaming.
In the case of your second path, however, I have the entire 88849 folder, not just the files, and that’s how they appear in-game.
So OneDrive>Documents>INZOI>Mods>88849>files.
But every time I download a mod, I have to manually copy it from the first path to the second.
OneDrive is notorious for messing up games like The Sims and Inzoi where mods are involved, because its file backup/syncing system always deletes things.
I would highly recommend either disabling OneDrive completely if you don’t use it, or disabling the Folder Syncing feature for your Documents folder (and any other folders, if you want the other storage services but not the syncing).
Thank you so much for your reply.
I disconnected OneDrive from my PC and disabled syncing, but I still have two Inzoi folders, one full folder and one with just the mods. Is there something I did wrong when I initially downloaded the game?
Save data is enabled in Steam.
I’m attaching screenshots of the two folder paths.
Do you have two different SSDs or a separate hard drive, or do you have multiple user profiles? It looks like it’s saved two different drives or users.
I only have one disk, and in the Users folder there’s only one user, the one with the Inzoi folder with only the mods but not the saves and everything else.
But I have two Documents folders, one inside the “mialu” user folder and the other outside.
But I don’t want to drive you crazy about this :), I’ll cover the mods manually. I’ll study Windows a little better, I haven’t used it since Vista.
Thanks again.
