Issue Date: Since 1 week ago
Error Message: Don’t have
Details:
I’ve been playing inZoi since day one of its release and never had any issues. But recently, after some time without playing, I tried to open the game again and started having problems with mods. So I uninstalled all of them. However, the game still doesn’t open properly. Now, when I create a zoi in CAS, as soon as I press to finish creating that specific zoi, my game just closes. No warnings, no error boxes, nothing — it just shuts down. I’ve already reinstalled the game, verified the integrity of the files, removed all mods, and nothing has worked. Can someone PLEASE help me? If needed, I can send my Discord so someone can assist me better.
Hello @brunoalmeida19991 did you see the questions of LazyTaco ? It could be important for us to know more details to find your problem and help for resolution
I have the same problem. Just buying and installing it from Steam today, I haven’t had a chance to play it keeps crashing when trying to create a new game, new zoi. I will try to find a solution from the opinion of players in the forum.
Tried the lowest setting and it crashes.
I close all the unneeded applications but Taskbar manager and AMD Software for tweaking. So the RAM resources will be sufficient.
I am new to the game and I have just started my first Zoi.
The latest graphics driver was installed.
Windows 10 with the latest required drivers and what not.
Until I try to download and install Visual Retributions. Undervolted the GPU. Allowing access through the firewall, and it finally ran, but I’m not so very pleased with the graphics, even if the GPU managed to get around 60–70 fps with the tweaks. Is the game really meant to play with a high-end GPU? I don’t know, please someone will share the GPU settings, esp. using AMD RX 7600. Till then, I think the visual is really disturbing, and it won’t let me play longer, and I will not enjoy it.
It’s OK, I know why it crashes and makes my system fail (shut down and restart), not blue screen. The game means running on a better system because it eats too many resources.
I ran it on a mid-end AM5 system. 6 Core/12T, NVME 1 TB, DDR5 16GB 5200, RX 7600 8GB VRAM. And I thought it would be enough to have a good-looking game and I didn’t expect to have a very stunning visual.
The first Zoi crashed, so I did a bunch of things to sort it out, and it does run. But after several times logging trying to start life with ZOI, it makes my system fail, shuts down and restart itself. So I checked the indicator. The CPU, RAM and VRAM were high. I turned down the graphic setting to the lowest and gradually tweaked it to what I think would look pleasant to my eyes, but it started to peak on the system resources and shut down again. I do try to limit the CPU usage to around 60–80% as well as VRAM, but the visuals are poor, the graining or the noise start to come out, the zoi reflection in the mirror is abysmal, and I cannot play a game like that. So I uninstalled.
I hope the dev will ever think about making the game run on the general system. I downloaded the game after understanding the minimum requirements, so I was thinking my system would be OK with running it. Oh well, it does run but poorly.
I’ll keep the game in my gallery and hope it will run again someday. Thank you.
