Downloaded canvas textures not showing up in game

Hi there sorry if I’m not using the right tags but I’ve no clue what to select from to add this issue here, so since the update I’ve noticed all downloaded textures are not showing up in game apart from my own textures I made, all textures are in the my textures folder… so I don’t understand.

I have validated all files, I have dragged all textures out the folder an then back in and it still wouldn’t show up in game so now I am starting a whole new save to see if it rectified problem, I also deleted all files from dx cache folder and from the de3d folder and webcache folder but nothing. The textures I downloaded from canvas still don’t show up

I’ve no clue if it’s a bug but thought I’d leave this here hoping someone may know something.

Same here. I hope it’s a bug because if it’s a change it doesn’t make any sense.

The details of the recent update say this:

"Improved Features

  • ‘My Textures’ will only display textures created on the player’s current device*

Okay, but then where can I view the others, i.e., all those I downloaded via Canvas? Can someone be more specific? Thanks

Oh no I hope they didn’t add this as a new feature this sucks if so.. Don’t get me wrong I can at least use my own textures but I loved using other people’s too just for my own use on clothing and decor related stuff :frowning:

I wonder if people complained because we using each others designs and without permission type thing?

I think it’s a glitch as the textures I created on my computer and then uploaded to inZOI weren’t working either. I had to restyle my zois

That would be quite silly… Because you can simply get the textures from “import texture” in-game, and then go to the Documents/inzoi/canvas folder to make them reappear. Except that this wastes unnecessary time.

When I looked the textures were still there. I tried reapplying them, but when I went back to the game the clothes were plain. I had to restyle the zois then the textures were fine. The issue seems to be pre-update clothes.

I’m trying to locate the textures I imported myself (and which are still present in the game).

The goal is to copy and paste the canvas textures into that folder, but I can’t find the folder :confused:

I tried pasting the canvas texture folder (Documents/Inzoi/creations/textures) into:

  • C:/Documents/Inzoi/canvas/textures
  • X:/Steam/…/Inzoi/…/Mytextures

But it doesn’t work :confused:

EDIT:

It seems that all textures, regardless of type (canvas or imported), are located in: Documents/Inzoi/creations/textures

I modified the .json file of an imported canvas texture and removed the following lines:

“Author”: “xxxxxxxxxxxx”,
“Downloaded”: “xxxxxxxxxxxx”,

After restarting the game, the texture reappeared. This seems to indicate that it’s entirely intentional…
(mods designated as originating from canvas are no longer visible)

As mentioned above, this issue has already been addressed in the latest update.
Please note that an additional notice has also been shared with more details — kindly refer to it for further information.

I can’t find my textures that I downloaded before. Where can I find them?
As mentioned in the v0.4.0 Patch Note, MY Textures now only displays textures created directly on the player’s current device. This change was made to improve the stability of the MY Textures list.
Previously, when a large number of textures created by other creators were downloaded, the list could become unstable. However, even if previously downloaded external textures no longer appear in the MY Textures list, any items that use those textures will still function normally.

Also, since this isn’t an actual issue, I’ll be closing this post.
If you have any other concerns, please create a new thread for them.
