It happens to me too. For now, Iâve fixed it with a Zoi sweater by going to âChange Clothesâ > âCustomize Your Style,â reselecting the sweater, and applying the texture again.
Of course, itâs a bit of a hassle because Iâve applied tons of new textures and saved the default Outfits.
Could you please confirm that we can no longer use other peopleâs created textures that we download of canvas and that we can only use our own textures from our own pc? May I ask what was the reason that this update was implemented?
Hi @sarahlasshes, This change was made to improve the stability of the MY Textures list â when many textures made by other creators were downloaded before, the list could become unstable or slow.
So yes, you can now only use textures saved locally on your device.
Even though previously downloaded textures from other Creators no longer appear in the list, any items using those textures will still work normally.
What about downloading 3d objects from canvas is this the same too?? Iâm having the same problem with downloaded 3d objects from canvas not showing up in game but they show up in the 3d folder Iâm getting frustrated now. Iâve been trying to play this update since yesterday morning and all the issues is just so much!
I get what you mean but the whatâs the point of having canvas if we canât share each otherâs âcreationsâ or designs??? So say I like a outfit design on canvas I wouldnât be able to download it and use it in my game because it wouldnât be âmy textureâ??
I donât know if this will help, but for example, on this sweatshirt my texture was only applied to the main color (the diamond one), but not to the original color. And in any case, textures are almost never applied to any shirt, menâs or womenâs.
Itâs one of the textures I have on my PC and therefore in the list.
As I understand it you can still use the item, you just wonât have the custom textures show up in theâMy Texturesâ list (unless you manually change the file author). I downloaded some custom outfits prior to the update and they still seem to work.
