Autonomy off not respected by played zois

    • Steps to Reproduce: turn autonomy off and get your zoi to work on something (like gardening) outside with other zois nearby

    I have my zoi’s autonomy turned off so I can get her to focus and complete a task but she keeps walking off to chat with someone. I expect if autonomy is off the zoi should only act when commanded to do so and not act with a mind of their own.

Never mind. I figured it out. Free Will is enabled by default in options - gameplay. Turning it off fixed it.

Yep they get pulled into conversations while busy with other tasks.

Had one time where they stopped gardening to go greet warmly a Zoi like a block away!

i’ve experienced this a few times too - my zoi leaves their home lot to walk down the street and talk to someone on a bench. seems like a bug because they weren’t talking to that zoi at all, but maybe they yelled to them or soemthing?

another annoying one is my toddler won’t let zoi’s sleep now. he’s constantly bugging them for a diaper change, to be wiped even when his stats are full.

Had it again where the Zoi just stopped what they were doing to go ‘greet warmly’ another zoi. Except this time they got into a transport and went halfway across the map to do so!

did you disable free will in options menu? With free will disabled i find my zoi only wanders when i have in game autonomy toggled on. When its off they don’t do anything unless I instruct them.

I really wonder why my Zois still do this ‘wander around’ thing even though autonomy is turned off for each Zoi individually and in the options.
As soon as they come near each other (near, not close) one of them runs off (they don’t just step away, they ruf far off, see pic below).
Makes it impossible to take pics of them standing next to each other, I so wish this would stop.
I get that this might happen to prevent clipping or so, but please give me the option, if only with a cheat, to let them stand next to each other.
It’s not that they wouldn’t run through each other anyway ^^’

Yes free will was disabled but they decided to travel halfway accross the map anyhow.
