Are there many people get the whale shark or orca from boat fishing?
I never get any one, even if I go fishing at the ruins.

We don’t have any luck with them either 
A few days ago, I took five of my Zois fishing around the ruins and elsewhere for quite a while but still no whale shark or orca.
It’s also quite annoing with the bugs. I hope there will be some fixes soon.
i haven’t caught either. i did catch a ghost great white. note that fishing from boats is still marked as buggy too:
-Zois with high Fishing levels may experience an unusually high failure rate when attempting boat fishing.
-When performing “Fish 5 times in a row,” all attempts after the first one fail.

I just caught orca. I was just over the ruins where there are some columns in the circle. I was in immersed mood, was using jeweled fishing rod and fished with the bait (one time).
I haven’t seen the whale shark yet though.
