I am just wondering if this is normal. My current Zoi is now middle age and going to become senior in 8 days. I started to play her as a young adult and since then she has cooked every single day, sometimes even twice as she is the one who always cooks the meals in the family. Her skill level is now 4 and will eventually soon reach 5.
So how it can be possible to even reach skill level 10 before the Zoi dies of old age?
Seems it would be only possible if she would do nothing else than cooking every day and then throw all the food away as nobody needs so much. I am not getting why this skill develops so slow.
Could you share your experience? Or is this a bug in my game?
Yes, cooking is very slow in the game, and right now I’m playing as a teenage Zoi who loves cooking, but the skill has barely reached level 3, even though he watches cooking shows. Unless you buy donuts from the Meow store, which speed up the skill, it’s likely that cheats are unavoidable if you don’t have enough Meow coins.
Yes, cooking is probably the slowest skill to develop. Buying doughnuts doesn’t help much since a Zoi usually only cooks 2 or 3 meals within 24 hours, so paying for them is kind of a waste. And grinding the skill only to throw away meals is tedious. Making cooking one of a Zoi’s favorite activities is supposed to speed up increases in skill, but I’ve never noticed a difference.
Too bad inZOI doesn’t have any cookbooks to read. They exist in real life, why not in the game?
This started in the Cahaya era updates (0.3.0-ish)
And I agree it’s far too slow now.
Eating a skill doughnut and spending the whole day watching the cooking channel is an option, but it takes far too long. My last zoi died at 91 and she had just reached level 7. She was a stay-at-home mom and cooked 2 times per day, sometimes more. (But never used doughnuts in that game, learned the cooking channel trick later)
