I tried to tell them the same thing on Discord, and especially @mxmun20 did too, for which some newly arrived (?) user called them arrogant, showed the door, and kept interrupting everyone when nobody asked him to (thus breaking rule‑1, but yet without consequence). The claim was that if one doesn’t trust the adjustments developers introduced during early access, it is better to quietly disengage from the game rather than block low‑end players from getting their portion. And if you’ve got high‑end rigs, you’re the arrogant minority yelling the loudest.
Basically, whenever anyone expressed concern about Canvastown replacing the base towns, low-end members immediately jumped in with the same line: “Isn’t 80 lots enough for you? That’s more than Sims 3 Sunset Valley!” Ultimately, no understanding was reached, we left discouraged, and one participant ended up with a mod ticket.
