As it is now, NPCs block active Zois from food stands and other objects.
In the pic below, Jack and Jeb were just about to make a wish at the Temple, but the two NPCs are blocking the objects and Jack and Jeb start to ‘wander around’.
Plz make it so/give us the option that the NPCs walk off/’wander around’ when the active Zois want to interact with objects.

100% agree! This is the same with restaurants or Cafés as well as food stalls. Especially in the restaurants it is sometimes extremely annoying as the game prioritizes some NPC Zoi still out on the street with the target to order food at the restaurant menue counter and sometimes there are even 2-3 such Zois. In these cases your active Zoi standing right next to the ordering menue has to wait for all these NPC Zois to order first before it is his turn.

please dont remove this, this adds realism cause irl you sometimes have to wait too especially if theres a lot of people wanting to order something, or make it optional. i like realism.

I would agree but only to a certain extent. When you arrive at the counter to order and there are other Zois standing in line to order, it would feel realistic to wait. But at least from my perspective it does not feel realistic when you stand directly in front of the counter and there are no other Zois there and the game then prioritizes some NPC Zois much farther away who still need time to even arrive, then it breaks the gameflow.

yea i agree with this
i think a way to solve it is to implement a check to the cashier npcs and detect the closest zoi so if you’re the first in line, you will be the first and others who standing further away come after

This really should be fixed. I just had a massively hungry Zoi (marked in red) standing right in front of the ordering counter at the Café, noboy is even near and the action is looping, he is unable to order. I first thought it might be one of the Zois marked in blue which would get prioritized.
But no. 5 in game minutes later action still looping and these Zois went into the Café to read books and did not order. Then I thought this Zoi in blue probably:
But also no. Other 6 minutes of looping later this Zoi (marked in blue) showed up. He was not even visible at the beginning, even if you fully scroll out.
And finally after he ordered my Zoi was allowed to order and got his food after 35 in game minutes of standing right next to the ordering counter because the game thought somebody who will arrive in 30 minutes should go first. This is really immersion breaking.

Oh my goodness!
(As a quick fix, is it maybe possible to edit this lot and place another of these kiosks? And remove the occupied one?)

Unfortunately this is the Cafe Satu Langkah Lot in Cahaya and at least for me the option to adjust that lot is greyed out.
You could try the
editAllSite true
cheat, then it should be possible

Did not think of it! Thank you @LennyOgg ! Will try when I am next time there.
This happens at all of the restaurant / café lots, not every time but quite often. But a second counter could probably help. Good idea!

I vote “Yes” to this, too. I also hate the way that my zois are prevented from doing certain actions because an npc who isn’t even there has decided to queue that action. This happens to my K-Pop zoi at Adam Entertainment every day; it takes her forever to change into or out of her uniform because every other employee has to go first, even though she is the only one actually at the locker.
Does the cheat actually enable editing all sites? I have always wanted to tweak the active career buildings a bit…

Yes it does. At least for objects.
Building walls is not possible on all of the lots (mostly disabled for parks, the sidewalks and the temples, for example).
But you could try to add some more dressers (if they’re in the build/buy catalogue, that is).
