im just at day one for my zoi and started as a young adult (pretty sure i picked teenager in caz but whatever..), but it already says theres only 3 days left until she becomes a adult ?? is that normal ??
Normal Life stage length as of 0.4.5 now (second column).
If you pick zoi presets, some are already in progress for their age groups.
A freshly created teenager should have 15 days before getting to young adult.

wait how can i make my zoi an adoloscent? in the caz i only had the option child and teenager, but no adoloscent lol
also do you know if they will make options for longer days? i feel like the days are kinda too short, i dont wanna rush my inzoi life
The only way you can as far as I know is selecting the Zoi you want to play as an adolescent from your preset (even if they are young adult or teen), then change their age on the left side to CHILD. It will take 10 days to age them up to Adolescent, and since they cannot live alone as child/adolescent you will have to make a dummy parent (or re-use the same template from your teen/young adult). Set time to 48min/day so it’s quicker.
Play until your Child becomes adolescent.
I do not know if you an save a preset from an adolescent teen… I actually never tried.
Might have to attempt to do so next time I have one in my families.
Also,
It’s been requested for as long as I am playing (since April 2025) to let us create new zois from ANY age groups.
So far the devs have not decided to make that happen.
BTW : You can change the length of Day in the “Simulation” option from the main menu.
You have 48min, 96min, 4hrs (240min), and 24hrs(1440min) choices available.

I know about the day length but will it also influence the age length? I thought day length is just how many real life minutes it takes for in-game hour to pass
For example I would much rather have 30 days as a teenager than 15

basically each zoi ages in days, and the length of day makes it shorter/longer to progress.
We are (supposedly) getting control of the age group length in the December update.
I hope it’s not pushed back as I have not been shown anything yet by Kjun’s videos.
If it does happen, you can change each age group to whatever you want.
I dunno if the maximum age of 100 will be adjustable… if so then even better, if not, we’ll have to manage the age groups so the total never exceed 100 days.
