It’s definitely connected to the eat/sleep changes back then, yeah. Most of the needs have become quite overcompensated by the Zois since those patches + updates.
The same happens for hygiene and toilet, my zoi uses the toilet, gets in the shower, both gauges are 100%, then repeat, use the toilet again, shower again. It’s weird xD
Also noticed Zois will not prioritize food that has been served or food in the fridge before they grab something “quick” to eat or take out ingredients.
Yes, that is infuriating. Especially since some meals have 8 portions now.
But then you have a babysitter come at your place and when you come back from work ? of course she emptied your fridge of all the pre-cooked meals !
Yeah, I’ve noticed this as well. To me it seems as if whenever they’re “bored”, they’ll go and fill up the least fullfilled need. In your case all of them are at 100%, so they’ll just pick a random one. Totally weird.
This was working fine in pre-0.2.0 and even up to and through Cahaya.
So I guess it is linked to the artificial behavior enforcement (and something went wrong), where they want zois to sleep from 11pm until 8am (and keep waking up if you try to go to sleep early or sleep late).
I’m very tired of those changes, and that’s putting it (very) mildly.
As far as I noticed back then, it got worse with one of the patches shortly before the October Halloween update. Maybe one of the fixes for the “zoi keeps dying from low needs” issue pushed it in exactly the opposite direction, where we’re now bothered by this bug.
We’ve reviewed this report and the behavior is part of the morning routine system — certain actions are scheduled to occur at specific times, which is why the Zoi performed the action even though the need was already full.
That said, we understand that it may feel a bit unnatural, and we plan to improve this behavior in the future.
Since this is not a bug, I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now.
