Please allow us to have more than two characteristics (at least 4); it’ll be more realistic.

It would be nice if we could chose between zero and like… 3-4 ?
True. And if we pick zero it should put all the emphasis on likes/dislikes and trait, like before characteristics were a thing… it would add even more diversity between character types.

I agree, because there is a lot to everyone’s personality, and more to choose from would be nice like friendly/nice, helpful/caring, calm/mellow, gamer, carefree, just to name off a few

If there’s a mod that does this i’d like to have it. 
and more to choose from, i also want that they have a real impact on the gameplay and how the life will play out

i feel like gamer itself would be more as a hobby, a personality trait alternative could be something like nerd, otaku etc which do have characteristics and stereotypes that could be fit as a trait, because personality has to do with emotions and decisions, not with hobbies, you can be a hot headed gamer but also a cozy soft gamer, so i dont think gamer would fit as a personality

True, I just named off a few examples real quick without spending time and thinking further, mainly because this list goes further than just one person can imagine, here I’m going to name off a few more real quick lol
(adult toward children) strict/firm, laid-back/careless, this can range from the parents that raise very responsible children to the ones that raise lazy children ecc. ecc.
Look at how we are from an overall perspective, we’ll use John Doe simply because he represents anyone in general.
John loves his wife, loves his children, works hard to take care of his family and also hangs out with friends
“every situation is always different and we respond accordingly”
so when John’s son says “Hey dad come look, I just unlocked this new skin on Fortnite!” John smiles and says “Great job son, what’s that gun you’re holding in your hand?”
when John’s son disobeys mom, John yells at him with a mean voice and threatens to discipline him.
Same John, that’s just two situations, not including situations at work, with friends, fixing things, out in public ecc. ecc.
See this list of Characteristics of real people is very in depth and who knows how long this list can go, of course there are too many to put in inZOI during this time but this can be leading into the future of video gaming and even VR.
and like when I go outside and see one of the dogs chasing one of the cats or two cats hissing at each other, this causes for different actions, then come back inside and one of the children is trying to open a can of raviolis, and I have to hold out my hand and say “Here” beat the can on my hand to loosen the noodles stuck to the bottom of the can, then open it, pour it into a bowl, microwave it,
can inZOI go this far in depth, my thought is probably not, but I know it can have a list of at least 20 Characteristics that can intertwine with each other respectfully
Each person will handle these situations differently
“the dog chasing the cat” some will run after the dog, and may grab a stick or something, some will spray a water hose at the dog, some will do nothing at all.
“the child trying to open a can of raviolis” some will open it and put it a bowl for them, some will explain to the child why they need to break the noodles loose before opening and show them how to open it, some will let the child try to figure it out on their own.
It would be nice to see zois have personal Characteristics and yes 2 is not enough
i like these ideas and would love to see it in game though, there can be different parenting styles but some styles would be tied to specific personality traits so it makes sense

I agree with this! Even three would be an improvement. Two definitely feels lacking.

I agree - more traits to have as well as a lot more to choose from so that it creates Zois that are more diverse. I also like what others mentioned about being able to select less since that could make a trait more of someone’s personality. Like for example, if someone only and enthusiast as a trait, maybe they’d be super obsessed with the gym and people might perceive that’s their only personality from small interactions.
