Game crashes in lobby (mods enabled)

  • Game Version: 20251229.9549.W

  • Platform: Steam windows

  • Mods: Active (CC clothes and hairstyles, all posted/updated after 0.5.0)

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System (OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage…): Windows 11, Intel i9 10850k CPU, Nvidia RTX 5070ti GPU, 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD.

  • Steps to Reproduce: Open the game when having some CC installed (even just one hairstyle or piece of make-up), wait a minute while in the lobby until everything starts to flicker and the game crashes to desktop.

  • Please provide the entire save file(s) from the date when the issue occurred.
    Not relevant since this didn’t happen inside a save.

  • Details:
    This seems to be a frequent problem for many people. The game will start up and enter the lobby, but after a few seconds the screen flickers and it crashes.

    From others I’ve heard this happens even with minor CC installed (like a few make-up things or even just one hairstyle).

FIX: I was personally able to fix this issue by unsubscribing all of my CC and deleting my webcache + settings config in the BlueClient Appdata folder (C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\BlueClient\Saved).

Please do find a fix for this that allows us to download mods/CC though.
