Can anyone tell me why the zois are now using their umbrellas inside the house? Not to mention that, in my game at least, they have never used their umbrellas properly. I had to use a mod to make them keep them in their inventory, though I’m not sure if this same mod also makes them use the umbrellas appropriately outside. Thing is, when it rains, I’m afraid to send my Sims out on the street because I don’t know if they’ll end up soaked as always. So far, without the mod, they pick up the umbrella from the umbrella stand, they just don’t keep it in their inventory and just sit there with it, indoors. I’d like you to please take a look at the whole umbrella system because, honestly, it hasn’t worked for me from the beginning.
And since I mentioned the umbrella mod, I’m afraid to enable this one or any other mod I have, because the game keeps telling me that an error can occur with outdated mods. But quite frankly, I don’t know how to update the few mods I downloaded. I don’t even know if they’ve been updated by their creators cause I don’t know where to look up this. I need some guidance on that regard as well, please, because right now, some of the outfits I downloaded from Canvas aren’t working for me. They look weird in game, the textures are missing or messed up, or the clothes simply don’t even show up cause the mods required for them apparently haven’t been updated.
If anyone knows how to fix this, and the umbrella issue too, I will be eternally grateful. Thank you for reading, and sorry for mixing two topics in one.
