How to enable and download mods (in-game curseforge)

(Please use mods with caution! They weren’t created by the dev team and aren’t guaranteed to work or to not corrupt your game / save files!)

Since the process of enabling & installing mods in your game can be tricky to figure out, here’s a short screenshot guide on how to do it:

1. Go to “settings”, then click on the marked “Mods” category → switch the only option available to “on” → don’t forget to click on “apply” in the bottom right corner
   

   

2. Go back to the main menu and click on “Mods” (highlighted by the butterfly in the screenshot)
   

   

3. Now use “discover” or “browse mods” (= easier to apply filters to your search here) to find mods you’d like to have in your game
   

   

4. Once you’ve found one you’d like to use, the red arrow shows where you can “subscribe” aka. download it
   

   

5. Then you can see how your setup downloads and installs the chosen mod
   

   

6. Once the download is finished, you have three indicators for it (marked with red arrows) → once you’ve tested the mod, please remember to give feedback via vote (see: green circle)
   

   

7. Go to “installed mods” to see all mods currently installed on your setup → you can disable one mod, all active mods or even unsubscribe from all mods
