Adopt/Medical Birth autofills incorrectly when First Name - Last Name is set

As you can see here, the Last Name fills the First Name section even though I have the game set to use First Name - Last Name. It does this for both Adopt or Medical Birth. Regular births do not autofill any names for me from what I’ve seen, and I think changing Adopt and Medical Births to do that would be the easiest way to fix this issue.

Can you make sure the name format settings in your game are set to your preference?

  1. Go to Settings → Gameplay
  2. Scroll down to Others
  3. Then the third setting lets you choose the format in which you want all in-game names to appear

Yes. My preferences are set to ‘First Name - Last Name’ and the issue persists.

Hi @Nyami,

If you manually enter the names — for example, Sadie in the first name field and Oswald in the last name field — the name will display correctly in the First Name – Last Name format.

However, we understand that the current autofill behavior can feel inconvenient. We appreciate you pointing this out, and we’ll take a closer look at it.
