Yes, I’d like an option to remove that too!

Since it weirdly only occurs with some computer interactions and with others not -.-

Yes, I never liked this monitor hologram. It’s quite immersion breaking IMO. Unfortunately, I haven’t figured out a way to disable it even though it bugged me since launch :expressionless_face:

It seems weird, because I seen it on some peoples YouTube videos, then when I played I did not have it, now every new game that I start I have it

Here’s one of my old games I just now continued and it still does not have the hologram, at which I can’t find any setting that would change it…

Should this be a bug report beings my old games don’t have it and my new ones do have it?

In my case it never occurs on my old games no matter what interactions are being used, and it occurs on my new games on every interaction

@JoyIsFunner it’s really weird that you don’t see the hologram in your old saves. It’s been in my game since launch

How can I get staff to notice this and move it to bug reports?

After asking if there’s a way to disable it, apparently it’s a game bug

Wow, I didn’t know it was indeed a bug. Amazing catch!

I think the lack of a hologram is a bug, not its presence  I always saw it at my Zois’ computers

You’re right, that does seem to be the issue, also it is annoying to most people from my understanding so I’m going to try to get the devs to give us a way to turn it off, because it is an eyesore :+1:

I agree with everyone in this thread - and I am laughing at the fact it was always a game bug. I thought it was odd but just assumed it was intentional

Opinions are divided!

It seems that I, who find it cute and interesting, am in the minority! & I like this hologram. I’ve had it since the beginning of the game with v0,1,7, and I thought it was such a futuristic detail.

For example, when my creative Zoi-friend composes a song, I see the familiar interface of the audio editor, which makes me euphorically nostalgic))) In real life I love to create music, but only im home, and nobody never didn’t heard it)))

& Hologram add the atmosphere of futurism, as we live in some future (like 2030-2035…). Are there really no sci-fi fans here?! It reminds me of the TV series ā€œCapricaā€. There are classic outfits, retro cars, high-tech and holograms existed in the same world there at the same time

In my experience, the hologram doesn’t appear in all PC activities. I’ve met a hologram while writing a song that can be sold, and while writing an essay that can also be sold from inventory.

I’m not sure, but I think the hologram appears only when Zoi creating intellectual labor items, which are then stored in inventory and can be sold. Like songs, stories, screenplays, PC software.

When the Zoi watches the news, writes comments, or does homework for the university, there is no hologram (I just didn’t seen by the way)

I really like the hologram as well — I’m a sci‑fi fan. But I never get to see it because my Zois only use the computer for regular everyday tasks. :psycat_paw:

I shake your hand, sci‑fi fan))) :handshake: :upside_down_face:

As I wrote above, in my experience, the hologram appears when Zoi creating intellectual labor items, songs, essay, screenplays, software, that can be sold from inventory.

Off-top. By the way, you have very beautiful houses! I play with my Zois in your houses with great pleasure! :folded_hands:

It’s cool that you like the hologram, it is too much eyestrain for me, and I hope we can get a setting to turn it on or off, leaving this up to each player :+1:

Oh wow, thank you so much for enjoying my houses — that means a lot to me! :psycat_blush:
I guess I just don’t play‑test them long enough to catch that awesome feature in action. Building takes time… and somehow there’s always another project waiting in line.
