Two house mates (not related) Young man and woman. I have trying hard to start up a romance between them, but I cant seem to make any progress? It was very easy in Sims 4. They are long life friends, trust each other, always complimentary and positive to each other. They even sleep together in same bed. But I cant find how to get them romantic? Man control, click on woman (or woman to man), all the same activity list, but no Romance in the list? Affection is in list, but Nothing to indicate to start a romance, unable to rest the heads on each other, a box comes up, to choose a zoi but the house mate is not listed? Why? This has been going on for 7 Inzoi days. PLEASE, how do you start a romance. I am frustrated. And from the expression on the 2 zoiâs, they are too.!?
Could you check by bringing them in CAZ (by clicking âstyle yourselfâ in the clothes menu, for example) if they are attracted to each others gender?

This has to be serious bug on the game. If I cant rectify this soon, then as far as I am concerned, I will ditch InZoi and go back to Sims 4. There is no point in playing the game if you cant begin a romance! Maybe change this post to bugs?

Hi, inZOI is still in early access which means the game is not fully finished yet. We all experience lots of bugs and issues that can be really annoying lol.. but thatâs normal for an Early Access game. So itâs either waiting for a hotfix, a big quarterly update or waiting for inZOIâs full release 
I posted a similar topic in the bug section, except in my case the Sims were already married, and after the wedding the romantic interactions suddenly disappeared from the menu. And to make it funnier - on their card they have âfamily relationshipâ but theyâre both still singleâŚ
@Rickie , are the 2 Zois in Young Adult or above age group? I think teenagers and below do not have a âRomanceâ interaction.
Some personalities/traits combinations can make good friends but may not trigger a romantic interest.
Can these 2 Zois start a romantic interaction with any other Zoi in the game? Try to initiate romantic interaction with other Zois to isolate the issue if any.
I have seen that for some specific peronality / trait combinations it is really hard to even make friends. But is it really the case that there are combinations where romance is not possible at all, kind of will always be rejected? Or is it just way harder compared to more matching personalitiies? If impossible: do you know which combinations these are?
The romance option should be there no matter what.
Not every romantic interaction has to lead to a lifelong happy relationship.
And we should be allowed to have dysfunctional relationships too.
Or just a hookup with a person thatâs so wrong for us - but just right for one night or whatever.
This shouldnât be restricted in any way.

I see it the same way and absolutely agree. Thus why I was wondering if there are really cases where the game would restrict it or if it is a bug in that case.
I think the problem with not being able to start a Romance is that both are Teens. This restriction in the game is stupid. 18 or 19 year olds can not have a romance!? My Ukrainian mother was pregnant with me at 19! And was very happy with my English father. Very romantic couple.
