In Unreal Editor InZoi modkit I have been trying to find the textures for InZoi Bottoms:- M-Pants_L003_001. This is the main 2048x2048 Base Texture. I have tried loads of methods to find it, no success. At least I am becoming more familiar with UE. In Sims 4 it was easy to get all the default textures, skin, clothing, et., base, bump, reflective, textures, et. Then you had a default texture as a template to create your own textures. Any Advice, Please.
Hi @Rickie!
I’ll change this to a Q&A category so it’s easier to answer and keep things organized. Thanks ![]()
OK, that’s fine. I was not sure where to put it.
Hi, this doesn’t work like The Sims 4, it’s more like The Sims 3. If I understand you correctly, what you’re asking for isn’t a simple retexturing with patterns . You have to clone, change the images (which in Inzoi I don’t know if they are the same as you say) and repackage, and that in Inzoi will be a mod. You’ll need to look for tutorials or a modder to help you. I only do simple retexturing, but I wish you luck. Although they seem to be there :
We have some tutorials here that might help you get a better understanding, the modkit is complicated ( It’s not S4S).
If you’ll allow me, Lion, I’m going to jump into your message to clarify things in case I haven’t explained myself well, and for those Sims 4 creators who might be a little confused. I don’t realize that many of you are quite young and haven’t used the texture designer in The Sims 3.
The patterns applied in CAS have nothing to do with the UV maps from the 3D model, nor with the rest of the object images, nor with the clothing. It’s an application for users of any skill level to enjoy, allowing them to apply any pattern directly from a folder to CAS. And they adjust to the models by default.
To manipulate the 3D model and the images of clothing and objects more deeply, we have to use ModKit, and therefore a mod will be created, as its name indicates. These are not uploaded to the canvas, and it’s not as easy and simple a program as sim4studio.
