I just thought this was because of the furniture aging issue, but when I try to replace it, it also looks old/worn.
Does it look that worn on your game too?
I don’t think I’ve noticed that when I placed them a while ago.

Also sometimes, having a dirty room can cause similar visual effect.
I try and vacuum near that furniture myself just in case.
But glad you found it was a texture issue
