i thought about this before, and wished it could be possible in inzoi! apartment management could facilitate a very dynamic and realistic gameplay! also, other than apartments, i wish they could allow renting a room from your own house out to other zois from other households, i mean for example if you need money you could rent out a room or two!

I am strongly opposed to building deterioration. This is a game . Yes to all the others. Why do i have to demolish and rebuild buildings in the game? I’m sorry but i’m completely against this option. Don’t confuse the game with real life.

Hello,

I think my point may have been misunderstood, so I would like to clarify what I meant. What I am suggesting is that apartments and other buildings we create in inZOI should naturally age over time. This is something that should exist in a life simulation game. After all, inZOI is designed to simulate life as realistically as possible.

I believe many players share this opinion. As the years pass, wall paint should begin to peel, requiring players to repaint their buildings. After several generations, older apartments should start showing cracks, while doors and windows should become worn and damaged over time. If inZOI adds such a feature, there should also be options for repairs, maintenance, and renovations.

Having buildings age naturally and require upkeep would add much more realism and depth to the game. Players would need to take care of their properties just as people do in real life. In my opinion, features like these could help distinguish inZOI from other life simulation games.

Of course, everyone is free to share their own opinions. However, I believe systems like these would make the game feel more alive, immersive, and realistic. I hope the developers will consider adding such features in the future…

I don’t want my building to get old. You’re confusing real life with the game too much. This is not a repair game.

That is your opinion, and this is mine. I enjoy games with these kinds of features. One of the reasons I play inZOI is because it offers things that I cannot find in games like The Sims or Paralives.

I chose inZOI because it is designed as a realistic life simulation game. Personally, I am not looking for a casual or highly simplified game experience. As you may have noticed, I prefer games that focus on realism, immersion, and systems that reflect real life as closely as possible.

Features such as building aging, maintenance, repairs, and renovations would make the game feel more authentic and meaningful to me. That is why I believe these kinds of mechanics would fit well within inZOI’s vision as a life simulation game.

There might be an option in the settings to indicate whether buildings should age. But apart from that i cannot accept this option. The others are great suggestions.

Yes, it could work the way you suggested as well. If inZOI adds these kinds of systems in a future update, players who do not want them could simply disable them in the settings. That way, both players who enjoy realism and those who prefer a simpler experience can enjoy the game in their own way.

However, my point is that inZOI was introduced as a realistic life simulation game, and that is exactly why I chose to play it. For me and many other players, realism and attention to detail are the main reasons we enjoy inZOI.

To be honest, I never played The Sims or Paralives because neither their graphics nor their gameplay appeal to me. In my opinion, inZOI is different from them and offers a much more immersive experience. I personally think it looks better and has greater potential as a life simulation game.

That is why I believe features such as building aging, maintenance, repairs, and renovations would fit perfectly into the game’s vision. After all, in real life no building stays in perfect condition forever. Details like these would make inZOI feel even more realistic, immersive, and unique.

But players who don’t want to play this way don’t have to. You understand this. For example i don’t want to bother with renovations.

As I said, there could simply be a “Disable Building Aging” option in the settings. Players who want realism can keep it on, and those who don’t can turn it off. That way, everyone can enjoy the game the way they prefer.

@HamzaTR You might like this… this is included in the game update today. Notice the option of weathering :face_holding_back_tears::heart_hands::two_hearts:

I didn’t know about this feature. Could you explain exactly how it works and what its purpose is? :star_struck:

Yes, of course. The above picture show the weathering at 0 (meaning it appears new). The picture below show it at 100 (meaning it looks old and worn) I placed a teddy there for you to see - I hope this explains it better :psycat_paw: So we can now make our items look old or new - wow!!

It’s beautiful, but what I want is for the structures to age, even for the paint on the walls to peel and the floor to look old; I want systemic aging.

Lol :joy: yes, I know - I thought this might satisfy your need in the meantime but this is a good thing because it means this function could be implemented on a larger scale (buildings, wall and so on) in the future.

Yes, I really love this aspect of InZOI. I would also love to see traffic accidents added in the future. Features such as cars being damaged or destroyed in accidents and even the possibility of a Zoi dying would make the game feel more realistic. I also think it would be interesting if natural disasters like earthquakes were added. Apartment walls could develop cracks that Zois would need to repair, paint could peel off and need repainting, and broken windows could be fixed by the Zois.

I think InZOI has the potential to become a very rich and content-filled game. As soon as I come home from university, I would turn on my computer and spend several hours—sometimes even more—playing InZOI. It is truly a meaningful and deeply engaging game for both my friends and me.

For me, it’s the complete opposite. Something i never want to see. It would immediately put me off the game.
