I have created a new home on a plot of land in Cahaya. The ground is a dusty looking and bare. I see the surrounding properties have grass lawns. I have been through the building mode and outdoor list, but can not find the grass to cover the brown dusty ground. Is it there somewhere, or is there no option to change the ground surface on my garden? If that is the case then this is not good. Sims4 had this option. Advice please.

Sadly itās not possible (yet) to paint the terrain.
An (unsatisfying) option is to place a platform and add the grass texture
Roadmap says itās āplannedā for end of this year but the roadmap is already in delay, so no one knows when and if itās possible.
I donāt know what they mean by āExpandā¦ terrain editing featureā since this is the first mention of the word āterrainā in the roadmap and later they even write āBegin development of terrain editing featuresā

The best you can do is put that patch of grass over the terrainā¦ itās definitely not enough, but it works.
Unfortunately those grass patch cannot imbed themselves into walls and sometimes other objects (canāt overlap multiple patch of grass for instance) so there will be gaps.

Thanks. I am aware of the grass squares, but they donāt look very green. And you can see the square edges. I donāt think this is very good. And just one boring design of paving. Sims4 had far more building options. Inzoi needs to improve on this. I love your house, great design, and features.

Hi. Following your reply to my post about not being able to lay a grass lawn. Just found out a way to do it. If you go into building mode, click the flooring, and you have 3 large ground squares, 3 different sizes. click on one of those and it lays a large white tile over the ground, then you can pick a grass texture to paint over the tile, and adjust the brightness of the grass. Much better then using those small grass tiles, that do not look very good. All the best to you.
