Soo, I’m trying out v0.6 like it so far.. however… I and a lot of players are disappointed that the age sliders aren’t in-game yet.. please InZOI add this feature ASAP, we players beg you. :sob: :sob:

It would be cool to have a tween because age goes from child to teen and the teen is 99% same as an adult

Adolescent needs its own height @JoyIsFunner, you’ll find many players agree with you.
(So does “Preschooler”, a stage between toddler and child, but adolescent is the crucial one here).

As for age sliders ?
I’ve been asking for those ever since 0.2.0 hit with it’s 42days generation annoyance.
I hope we get that soon as well, I just can’t play any serious game with the current age group lengths.

Fully agree!!! This is very much needed as the family gameplay is quite off from my perspective so that parents often die before they children are even young adults. At least if the parents do live some own life before getting kids.

I already posted about this back in November. And the age sliders would be the best solution to solve it as it would give us the flexibility to adjust every life stage to our needs.

I’d love to know what’s taking them soo long to implement this, as it was supposed to be implemented in the December update, but wasn’t. What also bothers me is that we’ve heard ZERO, ZERO updates on the progress. All we’ve heard was the teaser for it, which was all the way back last June. :sob:

When it was pushed off the December update and another roadmap appeared, it was supposed to be Q1-2026.
We are now in March… At least give us something…

  • Have you started working on it?
  • Do you have anything to show us? A small peek at the very least ?
  • If it’s going to take longer, can we at least have a cheat with the “SetAge [1-99]” command ?

We’d really like an update on this request, please.

Posted it in this week’s brainstorm.
I’m tired of not being given news, previews or anything…
Q1-2026 will be over soon, and it was already pushed back from the December update.
It is time we get some info… IMHO

I think it’d be cool if there were a little more differences between age groups. For example, if teens were shorter with baby faces.

It really should not be the most difficult feature to add and given it was promised much earlier I fully agree that we need an update on this!

Currently the workarounds are not really helpful for an immersive gameplay with cheats to stop certain Zois from aging for a certain amount of time etc. My simplest workaround at the moment is to stop young adults from aging until they are ready to get kids and turn it on from then on. That way they at least have a chance to see their children grow up before they die of old age. But it would be so much better to adjust each lifespan instead of this method.
