  • Steps to Reproduce: 1st my Zoi could not enter a room. i tried to delete the door thinking it migh tbe glitched. And I deleted the wall that the door was on, When I did this a random wal appeared that stretched across the map, I exeted the game (it would not save) and restarted my game. 2. When I tried to go back into the build mode I got a pop up that I had an unsaved version that would be saved as a preset. There was no image to the presset. And then the game would crash whenever I tried to enter build mode. I click on the”Build Mode” Icon now and the game crashes down. After this I did update my graphic card.

Oh my :scream:

What I would try is take all mods out and then verify my game files on steam.

After that create a new save and see if it still happens.

That is one frustrating bug! I hope the devs can take a look and give you a proper solution and have it added to known issues and fixed in a future hotfix.

In the meantine, is it a possibility for you to go back to your a previous safe file version? Or are you just stuck with the bugged one?

I suspect that this preset was saved incorrectly and is now causing crashes because the game is trying to load it and can’t. Building presets should be here → Documents\inZOI\Creations\MySites Try to find it in this folder and delete this preset manually. Maybe this will work

I did all the bug fixes that normally work including a new save file. I was just about to start my Let’s Play series. I just created 20* Zois and built and redesigned apartments for my Let’s Play. It took about 3 weeks so I would hate to re-do all that work.

I am sure that it has something to do with the build. Once I was finished the build I play tested it and it was fine. But the next day it started to glitch and my Zoi couldn’t go through the door. When I went into Build and tried to replace the door and deleted the wall the weird door that spanned across the map showed up and the game crashed. I did delete the presets but I still can’t get into the build mode.

I hope so too. Building is a big part of my story telling

Can you please upload the related save file here? It’d really help to get closer to what might be causing the bug. If you haven’t done it before, here’s the official guide on how to do it: How to Send User Files to The inZOI Team (Updated)

The file is to large so hopefully the link works.

After many many tries I have gotten into Buildmode. I’ll share what I did to get it fixed.

  1. Delete mods while in Inzoi in-game “Installed Mods”
  2. Close the game
  3. Manually deleted files on desktop | documents/InZOI/User_data/88849
  4. in search window type/copy in %localAppdata%/inZoi/user_data/88849 (if nothing comes up you don’t have the file. If you have it delete the mods
  5. Make sure your pre-sets do not have missing thumbnails or files. if you find any missing files delete them. go to> | documents/inZoi/Gallery
  6. Check any content you downloaded from the Gallery and delete any missing files (I looked for ones with no thumbnails
  7. Go to your Steam Account and right click on the game in your library and select Verify Files - (At this point I restarted the game and was able to get on but it would still crash or freeze and I could not upload to Canvas. (If I tried to save it crashed, I also think it was crashing when the game tried to auto save)
  8. I then found this video and I did all the steps and the graphics became super fast, clear and crisp and and the game looks even more amazing! So follow all the steps in the video. https://youtu.be/iNXF3YBT6J8

I hope this works for anyone that needs it! :star_struck:

Amazing! Thank you for sharing your process and including the video :folded_hands:
