Hey there, welcome to the inZOI forum!

Would you kindly share an dxdiag with us? If you haven’t done one before, here’s a part of the official guide on how to do it:

A solution for the crashes might be switching back to an older version of inZOI temporarily. You can do that via Steam. Just click on the inZOI game settings > game versions > 2025-12-22.

We’ve had quite a few reports from players whose game won’t start/crashes who meet the minimum requirements.
Maybe they should adjust them.
But the devs also said they’d make improvements so inZOI can run on more lower-end systems.

I assume you’re having the same issue?

It’d be amazing if you submit the report form with your specs and also add a dxdiag like mentioned above. We’ll do our best to help :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you for sharing.

I checked the specific updates for your GPU (based on the setup shown) because you mentioned that inZOI compiling new shaders commonly leads to those crashes. There were 3 in total, 2 main ones and one hotfix (latter was released in late December though).
Are you able to launch the game normally once the shaders are done after a few attempts ending in crashes?

Hi. I was having crash issues in Build Studio. This is what I did. try this it should help.

  1. Delete mods while in Inzoi in-game “Installed Mods”

  2. Close the game

  3. Manually deleted files on desktop | documents/InZOI/User_data/88849

  4. in search window type/copy in %localAppdata%/inZoi/user_data/88849 (if nothing comes up you don’t have the file. If you have it delete the mods

  5. Make sure your pre-sets do not have missing thumbnails or files. if you find any missing files delete them. go to> | documents/inZoi/Gallery

  6. Check any content you downloaded from the Gallery and delete any missing files (I looked for ones with no thumbnails

  7. Go to your Steam Account and right click on the game in your library and select Verify Files - (At this point I restarted the game and was able to get on but it would still crash or freeze and I could not upload to Canvas. (If I tried to save it crashed, I also think it was crashing when the game tried to auto save)

  8. I then found this video and I did all the steps and the graphics became super fast, clear and crisp and and the game looks even more amazing! So follow all the steps in the video. https://youtu.be/iNXF3YBT6J8

I hope this works for anyone that needs it! :star_struck:

As long as you can play after relaunching a few times, I guess you have to stick with that technique until the devs come up with a patch. Unless @official.jade.monet’s steps work for you
