I’ve deleted a couple of presets in game via build mode & inzoi creation, but wanted to re-download them again.
When you want to re-download them again, you are stuck with ‘‘download complete’’ & unable to install them like you could originally. I’ve also tried deleting other assets through other sections where parts of the content may still exist. Pressing download complete will not overwrite or re-install it again.

It may be because it still exists in the game files & most presumably I have to delete the content from there to fresh install it again but I’m unsure.
I made an original post on Q&A category but with no solution, was suggested to post this in bug reports.
Will find original post here: How To Re-Download Canvas Content After Deletion In-Game

Does it happen with creations by other people, or just your own? @DexxLabs
I have the same problem with an outfit of my own creation that I downloaded. I can’t download it again.
However, if I download someone else’s creation and delete it, I can download it again just fine.

I believe it’s both, your own & other peoples canvas content.

Make sure the item is fully deleted from both Furniture Presets and Craft/3D Objects, since a lot of things show up in both places. After removing them, close the game. Then try downloading it again from Canvas — either in the browser before opening the game (schedule download) or directly in‑game. It should pop up again for download.

Next time il have a play around & give this a go thoroughly. May be a little syncing issue & still picking assets up that may still be in certain parts of the game. Thank you for your reply

Also I forgot to mention, OneDrive sometimes re adds files back into the game after an uninstall. Only noticed it because when I reinstalled my game. All the contents from OneDrive got placed back.
However, I’m not sure if this is the case with downloaded canvas content.

@urtess11 It might help to double‑check the 3D Objects list in Craft, because many Canvas items show up there too and it’s easy to miss one when we have a lot of objects. If even one copy is still there, Canvas will think it’s installed.
Another possibility is that after reinstalling the game, a new InZOI folder was created in Documents, while the old one is still in your device. If Canvas is reading the old folder, it may think the items are still installed even though the game isn’t using that folder anymore.

Just had a go re downloading via the browser with the schedule download button. It shows up saying it will add it when the game is next running. I did also check my documents folder to see if there was a duplicate folder but just had the one for inzoi. Tried finding folders than may of contained the contents but wasn’t able to find anything other than the assets that were already in the game.
I done this while the game was open first, schedule download from the browser canvas, then restarted. The presets didn’t get added back. I also tried scheduling the downloads while the game was closed then restarted but nothing still. Nothing that was deleted got added back.
I did also check the craft section, both the presets & the crafts/3d objects were not re added back.
I personally thought this was going to work at first but unfortunately no luck.

At least now Canvas is letting you schedule the downloads, so that part seems fixed.
Sometimes a Canvas item itself can be corrupted or incomplete, so if you want, I can try it in my game next time I open it. If you share the Canvas link (or the creator and item name), we can see whether the issue is with the object, Canvas, or something else.
I also saw an older post saying “Canvas objects” were under investigation, so it might be related.

Hope this helps.

For Property Presets, it might just be further down the list. I downloaded one build (the Starbucks one), but all properties should show up there. The older the preset, the further down you’ll find it.
About the Dior Bikini — that one’s a mod. With the new Canvas update, downloading it pops up an in‑game window so you can install it right away, and then you’ll find it in CAZ. Clothing mods show up with the Modkit icon.
Here’s how it looks in my game — Property Presets show up in this list, and depending on how old the preset is, it can be further down. There’s also a filter under the search icon that helps sort ‘Canvas downloaded’.
And this is the popup you get if you want de bikini in your game.
Hope it helps.

I did try the filter box but nothing was showing up for me after re-scheduling the download for the building preset content even after multiple attempts through web version of canvas, even restarting the game.
Only found this issue happens after you delete the downloaded presets in the game using the trash bin, then attempting to re schedule the downloads but doesn’t seem to bring back the presets or any of the content.
With the Dior Bikini, i didn’t seem to have any prompt requiring me to download the mods for it, or maybe I possibly have to manually find them myself. I originally deleted the bikini preset via the trash bin, same as the building presets. Seems to happen with cosmetics as well as building presets. I unfortunately had no luck.
Other items that were included before in the craft selection were not there too.

It might be something outside the game.
If you can, check your Documents folders, InZOI (Canvas, Mods, etc.) to see if any of them have the little cloud icon. if OneDrive is syncing those folders, the game sometimes can’t bring the files back.
You can also pause OneDrive temporarily just to test if that’s what’s blocking the presets.
If that doesn’t help either, you could post on the link I shared earlier about the issue.

That’s sad that you lost a lot of content you like. Thankfully, there’s always amazing stuff going to Canvas every day, so building up an amazing collection again will be possible.
Here’s something this experience has taught me:
Backing up my inZOI content
- I back up my content whenever I’m backing up all my other work on my computer. (I should do that more often. We probably all should. I’m going to try once a month.
- I back up my inZOI content before any major update
- Now, I will also back up my content (or a copy of specific content) before deleting
Regardless, I really hope they can fix this because many people will be in the same situation as those of us sharing this issue here.
I hope you find great stuff to make up for the things you can’t get back (right now).

OMG! Your screenshot shows the bikini mod takes 45.6 MB?!!!

How can that be? I just can’t figure out why anyone would use mods that take so much space! I don’t use them at all, so I had no idea what sizes they could be, but now I am so shocked.

Probably because it’s a bikini

Haha yeah, it looks big, but that’s normal for inZOI clothing mods. The high‑res textures make the file sizes go up a lot, so 40–50 MB isn’t unusual for detailed clothing.

Wow. I guess if there’s lots of disk space, it’s no problem. I just had no idea before. Now I know, so thank you! I love learning new things about inZOI.
