Creation, probabilities, jobs, and gameplay

I would like to share some of my thoughts and ideas that I have had while playing.

First of all, I think it would be great to be able to change the height of the zois within a range, or even just have several options like body types (very tall, tall, medium, short, very short). This could add a lot of variety to the characterization. In general, I think the range of manipulation of all forms in creation should be expanded id possible, as it is currently very restricted. The cheekbones, arms… all do have a relatively short range.

Also in creation, I’ve noticed many restrictions in the development of the family tree, for example, not being able to establish siblings or age limits for possible relationships. This could perhaps be more flexible and include more possibilities, as well as not imposing further restrictions like romances. Also, include the family in law and the law relations created in the game.

i´ve heard something about “social classes” to be included. In this context, it would be very interesting the posibility of having “high contacts” option so that in certain situations you can ask those contact for help and gain access or not depending on their importance. Perhaps this could be measured and your own character could have levels of influence. Also, some jobs would only be accessible through these contacts and status.

Regarding to the gameplay, the possibilities throughout each action could be expanded. For example, that each action to “heat up the atmosphere” has a realistic probability of pregnancy, or that feelings about it wasn’t always positive and joyful, giving a choice depending on whether it is sought after or causes that probability. I also think it should be possible from the first phase of adolescence, just like in real life. Even the reaction to the same event should not be the same for all zois. I would like this to be extended to practically all actions, such as possible deaths and so on. Also, everything should be based on approximate real probabilities. For example, when everything is going well, zois rarely die until day 90 or later. There should be probabilities at all ages, increasing with each additional day of life.

When you play with a lot of characters, you often lose track of some of them. It would be useful to have a small action icon next to their photo/selection button to indicate what they are doing

Also, in terms of professions, with an education system in place, access to different jobs could be restricted, with differences in status and rank of access. Some positions would not be accessible from the lowest rank. Others might require an entrance exam, such as firefighter or police officer, with their own “academy” and minimum requirements in terms of physical fitness, rhetoric, etc. Perhaps the same would apply to tests or requirements for promotions.

As a possible profession, it would also be interesting to be able to accumulate both business and residential properties that could be rented out. To take it a step further, perhaps even renting a room in your house to an NPC.
