Mods disappearing after being validated

  • My mods will disappear even after they have been validated. I have deleted the mods that are invalid. After I install new mods, they will show up as valid/invalid and be in the game if they are valid, but when I back out, they disappear. When I go into “installed mods” option, all of the mods still show up as enabled. There is also an issue with mods not uninstalling/updating, it will freeze halfway like it is stuck either updating or uninstalling.

UPDATE: I fixed it! I had a lot of my mod files in my recycling bin in OneDrive that I just needed to recover.
