  • Error Message: N/A

  • Details: I closed my game and opened it again, and all my mods got removed, and only two are left. Is there any way I can re-download them? Cause I have 100+ mods, I can’t remember where I downloaded them or what the names of the mods…

Heya:four_leaf_clover:

This problem seems to be simolar to this issue. I’ll post a link with something you cam try and hopefully it helps:

Hi thanks! I’ll try it tomorrow hope it will work..TT

Unfortunately, I dont think it works for me..when i open mods files i saw all the mods are gone for no reason TT

Is it possible for you to show a screenshot of your mod folder on your desktop? Along with the file path? And a screenshot of the Mods page from inZOI that shows your installed mods? Maybe we can take it from there and figure it out:four_leaf_clover:

Oh hi! I’m currently using the save mod files to copy, paste, and reinstall everything back now so…here’s the screenshot! It’s in Chinese tho..also I have 100+ mods now i just got 34 back.

Thank you:four_leaf_clover:.

I’m not sure if I see that correctly, but do your mods go through OneDrive? A user made the experience that the OneDrive syncing tends to sabotage the mods in a weird way. I’ll drop the link here where the user mentioned it. Maybe it is a similar issue?

no i dont think so but i downloaded CurseForge and let it scanned my pc to link the game so i can download mods on the app, and after that everything just gone

Okay, since you mentioned “scanning”… do you mean CurseForge gave you the prompt to sync mods? The “syncing” often leads to completely uninstalling the mods like in this topic here. The prompt window should look similar to this one:

I’m sorry if I’m not that helpful. But maybe we can at least somewhat pinpoint it and rule some tuings out:four_leaf_clover:

Yea i think that’s probably why..they uninstalled everything TT

This sync window is an absolute disaster… we mentioned it quite a bit in this forum, that it shouldn’t be the default that the game tries to uninstall the mods when it says “syncing”…

That’s not syncing, that’s complete destruction x_x.

If you have a back up folder of those mods, ypu could put them into the “88849” folder. Then activate “Mods” in the Game Settings and restart the game.

Or if the toggle is set in active, toggle them off, then restart, then toggle them on and restart the game again and then they should be back. But that only works if you have a back up of that mods folder before deletion…

Otherwise I’m afraid you have to install them again x_x. I’m sorry:four_leaf_clover:

Yea I just re-installed everything TT and now my game starts crashing a lot TT

Yea the syncing also lead me to having all my mods gone but I didn’t have many at least. I synced cause it only showed a single hair mod that needed updating cause it was basically broken and instead of it updating that mod all my mods were gone.
