Good morning everyone. I need some help. The game hasn’t launched since yesterday, and I can’t figure out why. I have a high-performance PC that meets the game’s recommended requirements.
When I click on the game icon to launch it, after a few seconds it just returns to the PC’s home page. Does anyone know how to help me? Thanks in advance. I should mention that I haven’t downloaded anything new compared to what I already had—I only downloaded a house from the canvas but without any mods. Thank you.
As we’ve already figured out in the large adjacent thread, disabling Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling in Windows and Ray Tracing in the game itself should help.
Try this method until an official fix is released.
I just tried again and now it’s starting up. But the loading is slow. Does this mean the game will perform worse? And as far as you know, is it being worked on? Thanks a lot in the meantime!!
People have actually found a workaround through experimentation there. And of course, it will degrade the graphics and is only a temporary solution. But given how widespread the problem is, I’m more than confident that all resources are being thrown at it, and a patch will come out in the next few working days. It’s the weekend right now, and the developers need some rest too so they don’t make even more mistakes from sheer exhaustion.
the thread & temporary workaround came from me. this does reduce the graphics some but if you have any other issues going on w the game @francesca.montenero just let me know and I’ll find out what in game settings work best for your setup
Good morning everyone!! the game is starting now I’m not sure if it’s due to the latest updates. I’m happy!! I just wanted to give you a heads up for transparency, thanks to everyone who replied.
