Crashes on Startup

  • Platform: Steam Windows

  • Mods: Never Used

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System: AMD Ryzen 7 9700x 8-core processor, 32 gb RAM, Windows 11 Pro, 16 gb graphics card with multiple gpus installed and 4TB of storage.

  • Issue Date: May 11

  • Error Message:

  • Details: The 0.8? version causes me to crash to desktop on startup every time. The May 11th update did not fix this issue, however I am able to load previous versions just fine and play.

Can you please doublecheck if your AMD drivers are up to date? We’ve noticed some issues with outdated ones after the inZOI v0.8.0 update :slightly_smiling_face:

They are updated, they were updated May 4th

I disabled the Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling because I experienced the same thing that it crashes at startup.

Same case here, tried everything, I wouldn’t want to revert back to older version cause I want to enjoy the latest update gameplay

I just had a clean reinstall of AMD, HAGS is ON now.

No, I even tried moving the installation and it’s still crashing

Hi, have y’all tried unplugging the game right before launching it?
It was one of the workarounds besides disabling HAGs from my previous crash issue/post

I meant if you’re on a laptop experiencing these crashing issues, try unplugging the laptop power cord before launching and leaving it unplugged until the game fully loads in. I apologize if you’re on a desktop as I didn’t find many workarounds for that myself but there probably are some here on my old post: InZOI Won’t Launch After Hotfix v0.7.2 - Technical Help - inZOI Forums
